Who is the trainer?
All our home care staff are trained by our in-house trainers having wealth of knowledge and extensive experience required to make sure that you enhance your confidence become as a competent carer.
How long does training last for?
We provide ten days care worker comprehensive induction training program ensuring that all our care staff have the knowledge and confidence required to deliver quality home care for our clients.
What does the Induction Training Programme consist of?
Our Induction Training abides to CQC standards. It also includes some Honor Care Limited specific areas.
This is what your 10 days of Honor Care Limited compulsory induction programme will look like...
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4 and 5
This is your opportunity to go into the field and observe an experienced member of staff.
Day 6
Day 7
Day 8, 9 and 10
New Care Workers will spend a minimum of three Days assisting and working alongside, either a Care Supervisor or Mentor.
End of weeks 4 and 8
You will receive a formal one-to-one discussion about your progress and go through your induction progress checklist.
End of week 12
You will have another one-to-one to formally sign off your induction and probationary period.
Begin your caring career
You will now be ready to be added to a rota with your own customers. Please remember that you will always have ongoing help available, supervision and regular refresher training.
You can also repeat training at your request if you feel you need to do so.
